Made from trees ranging from 100 to 250 years old, your longleaf
heart pine flooring is hand selected from old growth forests in Georgia and brought to H.V. & T.G. Thompson Lumber Co's sawmill for cutting, drying, and finishing.
We make stair treads out of the same grade of pine flooring that you order so they always match. All flooring comes in unfinished 3/4-inch thick tongue and groove boards.
Unfinished Flooring That Requires No Belt Sanding
You do not need to use a heavy belt sander on these floors. You will only need a lightweight vibrating sander. Once your floors have been sanded, we recommend applying four coats of a water-based professional grade polyurethane.
