Heart Pine - Longleaf Southern Yellow Heart Pine lumber has been used for fine projects since the 1700's.  Our ancestors enjoyed it's durability and attractive wood tones and used it to build furniture, ships, and homes.  Once in abundance in the southeastern U.S., the current supply of longleaf timber has declined due to it's popularity and maturation period.  Here at the Heart Pine Floor and Cypress Store, we are making this rare and elegant wood available in limited quanitites.  Our Longleaf Heart Pine Flooring is produced from trees aging from 100 to 250 years old.  We hand select this timber from old growth forests and bring it to our sawmill for cutting, drying, and finishing.  You can be assured that you are receiving the finest heart pine products available today.
